Carbs and Your Health, Your body burns carbohydrates and fat for energy. When you load up on carbohydrates, you don't give your body much of a chance to burn fat. Even worse, excess carbohydrates can cause your blood sugar to spike then drop, leaving you tired and craving more food, which can quickly add unwanted pounds. Atkins products can make a difference. Atkins has been the leader in controlled carb nutrition for over 30 years. And now Atkins product give you so many ways to cut down on carbs without cutting out the foods and see (and feel) for yourself!

Manufacturer's Suggested Usage
Combine and mix together bread mix and yeast in large bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups warm water (100oF) and 3 tablespoons vegetable oil. Mix with spoon until soft dough forms. Knead mildly with hands for about 1 minute. Form a ball. Cover with plastic. Let rise in warm area until dough size is double (about 1 hour). Turn dough out of bowl onto clean surface and with fingertips, gently flatten dough to remove air bubbles. Press dough into an 8"x10" rectangle, and from the short side, begin rolling dough to form a loaf. Gently transfer dough to lightly greased 9"x5" loaf pan, seam side down. Cover with plastic and allow to rise until doubled in size, about 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350oF. Remove plastic covering beforing baking. Bake 38-45 minutes or until golden. (Ovens vary so check at lowest time range.) Remove from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.
